Résumé

Le projet a pour objectif la préparation et la rédaction d’une fiche d’inscription à la liste de l’inventaire du Patrimoine Culturel Immatériel (PCI) français tenu par le ministère de la Culture ayant pour élément les « pratiques et savoir-faire du cinéma argentique. » Cette démarche permet de faire une étude du champ culturel du cinéma argentique aujourd’hui en France et d’inventer entre recherche et pratique les mesures de sauvegarde nécessaires à la pérennité de ce format comme patrimoine vivant à la fois pour la création contemporaine et les archives cinématographiques.

Abstract

The project aims to prepare and draft an application for the French Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) inventory maintained by the Ministry of Culture, focusing on “practices and know-hows of photochemical cinema”. This initiative will enable a study of the field of 3 photochemical cinema in France today and, through research and practice, the development of the necessary measures to preserve this format as a living heritage for both contemporary creation and film archives.
